5th Memoir Writing Class

Memoir Writing at Portsmouth Public LibraryBigwigBooks together with writer, editor, and owner, Marsha Filion is proud to announce that the fifth and final installment of the Memoir Writing class will be held on Monday, November 26, 2012 at the Levenson Community Room of the Portsmouth Public Library from 10:00 to 11:30 am.

The class will be dedicated to Shaping the Legacy of editing, revising, piecing together the quilt of experiences; how to find an agent and if it’s even worth it, and how to publish your memoir. These topics will be explored after half an hour of editing and revising work for the past few weeks of the course.

This class is open to seniors who are interested in sharing their wisdom and life experiences with family and friend through writing. Instructors will aid participants to put together the key moments in their lives in a literary piece that will serve as an inspiration and a way to rekindle memories.
