Recently, HubSpot’s Dan Zarrella studied 2.7-million Tweets—which all contained links.
Based on the research, some linked ReTweets do not even get clicks. Nearly 15% of the included Tweets had zero clicks. With that in mind, Zarrella recommended that social media marketing strategies should be designed with analysis metrics that can make efforts count.
Also, the study indicated that adding “please retweet” tends to strengthen ReTweet tendencies.
While links aren’t always clicked, ReTweets go a long way in terms of building brand image and promoting brand awareness.
According to experts, the best approaches to Twitter marketing involves generating custom content and interacting with Followers. Also, posting videos and pictures are a great way to engage Followers.
