Take a journey back in time and visit the glory days of the Historic Theater as The Music Hall hosts another one of a kind tour of Portsmouth’s landmark Victorian arts center on December 17, 2012 from 5:30 pm onwards.
The tour will consist of a visit to the backstage area which features 1901 Vaudeville era technology still being used, the antique front house which dates back to 1878, and the lobby which was delightfully renovated in 2008.
Travelling around with the guests is Music Hall Historian Zhana Morris. She will be providing colorful tales about the history of the theater including that of the sailors who rigged the theater in the late 19th Century, its flashy and famous owners, and stars across three centuries.
Tickets for the event are sold at $5 for members and $7.50 for non-members. These can be bought online here.
