Pop star Justin Bieber uploaded a series of tweets, defending himself against rumors created by reporters to sell papers and magazines.
The Canadian was criticized by UK reporters for showing up late for his concert at the O2 Arena in London. In response, the 19-year-old tweeted that the critics made “fake stories to sell papers.” Bieber posted 12 tweets addressing this issue.
However, during the following morning, Bieber apologized to his fans: “Last night I was scheduled after three opening acts to go on stage at 9.35 not 8.30 but because of some technical issues I got on at 10.10 so I was 40 min late to stage.”
He continued: “There is no excuse for that and I apologise for anyone we upset. However it was a great show and Im proud of that.”
Bieber will be performing once more at the O2 Arena for the last time during this concert tour.
