With a secondary investment from SV angel, Pinterest is planning on adding new features to its interface.
According to a blog post from the pinboard-photo sharing site, it has started testing an update with a small group of people. The new features are aimed at improving basic search functions and enhancing pin visibility by increasing image sizes.
Based on a report from Brafton, the three main changes are:
• A more intuitive internal search system
• Bigger pins with more relevant information’
• Much-improved site speed
As is, Pinterest is already considered a great place to find prospective customers. With new and better features, it should attract more users—making it an even greater place to launch social media marketing campaigns.
