Learn the fundamentals of Microsoft PowerPoint in a free lecture happening on Thursday, December 15, 2012 at the Levenson Community Room Located at the Portsmouth Public Library from 2:00 to 3:30 pm.
The lecture shall cover the basics of MS PowerPoint from using design templates to slides, to adding WordArt, clipart and animations to slideshows. Participants will also be taught how to save, view, and print a presentation as well as how to post it online so that other people can view it as well.
Prerequisites for the class are attending the Microsoft Word class or having familiarity with using the keyboard and mouse, highlighting, copying, and pasting text, and using the basic elements of the Windows operating system.
This lesson is part of the Portsmouth Public Library’s efforts to provide free hands-on computer lectures to members of the community. Each class accommodates up to eight students. To register, please contact 766-1720.
