Mother, a critically acclaimed film, will be showing at the Music Hall’s Historic Theater this Wednesday (May 30, 2012).
The film brings to light on the fuel to numerous world crises—population growth. During the 1960s, world population doubled. At the same time, politics tagged over population as a politically incorrect. In the movie, over population’s excessive consumption and inequity are illustrated through the life of Beth, a mother and child rights activist. Beth is the last sibling in a large American family. She experiences first-hand the problems of over population and finds ways to solve her dilemma.
After the movie, there will be a panel discussion with Henry Barbaro and Mike Hanauer.
