Winter Wonderland Tea

Memoir Writing at Portsmouth Public LibraryEmbrace your inner daintiness and enjoy a cup or two of tea as the Levenson Community Room located at the Portsmouth Public Library becomes the home of the Winter Wonderland Tea on Friday, November 30, 2012 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

This event will be hosted by the Alpha Delta Phi co-ed literary society of the University of New Hampshire. They will be providing guests with an afternoon filled with wintery treats and winter fun. Visitors of all ages are welcome to participate at the event. However, children below the age of ten must be accompanied by an adult or a guardian.

Collegiate hosts and hostesses will be serving hot cocoa, tea, and other warm drinks to guests to awaken the winter spirit in everyone. Participants will also be taught how to make snowflake cutouts, pipe cleaner reindeer and candy canes, marshmallow snowmen, and many more!

Guests will also get the chance to learn awesome winter facts and to explore the science behind snowflakes.
